Modular UKWtechnik System for all Weather Related Satellite Services
Universal modular system for all analog and digital modes, composed and configured on customerīs demand, either as a dedicated station for one service only or for an arbitrary combination of several services from one or more satellites. Terrestric services (such as GTS) can also be integrated on request.
Available modules include (but are not limited to) the following:
- MSG LRIT (including MDD and DCP)
- MSG HRIT
- MTSAT LRIT
- MTSAT HRIT
- PDUS (High resolution image processing for Meteosat-7), also available for other geostationary satellites MTSAT HiRiD, FY-2 (GOES on request)
- METOP HRPT (Direct Readout or via EUMETCast)
- NOAA HRPT (High resolution image processing for NOAA), including antenna tracking; optional also for FY-1
- SDUS (WEFAX image processing) MTSAT and GOES)
- NOAA APT with automatic reception scheduling and navigation, also for other polar orbiting satellites
- MDD (Meteorological Data Dissemination)
- DCPRS (Data Collection Platform Retransmission Service)
MSG modules are available both for EUMETCast or MSG direct dissemination.
Extensive functionality of image processing modules includes geographical navigation, freely definable areas of interest within the transmitted formats, choice of geographical projections, continuous zoom, fully user defined coloring, selectable filtering and contrast enhancement, animations with automatic update, image export functions and much more.
Meteorological data processing comes with powerful database management and comfortable display functions, including map overlay where applicable.
Full installation and commissioning by UKWtechnik personnel is available.
All High Resolution systems have a newly developed fully digital Meteorological Satellite Receiver (MSR) and are therefore prepared for reception of Second Generation spacecrafts.

PCWINSAT Master
Professional systems for WEFAX/APT analog transmission formats (MTSAT, GOES, NOAA APT).
PCWINSAT Master to be operated under MS-WINDOWS XPTM in real multitasking with other programs. Virtually unlimited networking capabilities. Will also run under MS-WINDOWS 2000TM or MS-WINDOWS NTTM.

Compact systems may be installed by the user himself. Full installation and commissioning is available, performed by skilled and experienced personnel of UKWtechnik or its representatives.
For major systems installation and commissioning by UKWtechnik personnel is strongly recommended or sometimes mandatory and will be automatically included in the project proposal.
